Skin + Me is a mission driven start-up with seriously big skin goals. We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team at Skin + Me. This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote. About the role Skin + Me is entering a new stage of growth and we're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team. This is a new position in the team and therefore the opportunity to develop is huge! We would like to support the successful candidate to take on a wide variety of tasks, setting them up to have a strong knowledge base on which they build their career with us. What you'll do: Investigate the best bank interest rates and open new accounts to optimise interest income Record payments Collect data and prepare weekly metrics such as debtor reports and cash controls Assist with recording month end transactions Ownership of expenses and credit cards Booking supplier invoices and completing weekly payment runs Key internal and external stakeholder management and communication Who you are These are the skills we're looking for. Proficient skills in Excel Knowledge of general accounting principles Great attention to detail Organisational skills Customer service skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong time management and prioritisation skills Good verbal and written communication At a minimum you should have started your Qualification in Accounting - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Industry-specific experience or experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role is desirable Why should you choose Skin + Me?
