OVERALL SUMMARY

Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance & Leasing (CBAFL) team where you will be responsible for assisting with the management and collection of arrears cases. You will be trained on the current system and your collection skills will be developed to ensure they achieve the results required to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collection of overdue accounts as agreed with the Collections Supervisor/Manager.
  • Correspond daily with customers both verbally and in writing.
  • Advise and regularly update relevant staff of any significant collections case and its progress.
  • Reschedule customer agreements when appropriate and agreed.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, repossession agents, legal representation, Insolvency Practitioners and other members of the CBAFL team.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
  • You have good telephone manner.
  • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • You have the ability to adapt working styles depending on customers and situations.
  • You'll have a proactive mindset and strong initiative.
  • You are highly numerate with a strong analytical ability.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
  • Have prior experience in a collections environment.
  • Have experience in an asset finance or financial services environment.
  • Have experience of using Alfa software.
